Hello,
after quite a bit of tinkering, I managed to get everything installed... my goal is to capture video 8 (from an old Canon camcorder)
unfortunately with the Ulead Video Studio software I can't manage to capture a single image!
and nothing shows up in the "computer" window (the Konig adapter) aside from my usual devices?
if anyone has an idea? I'm all ears!
thanks in advance
Configuration: ACER M7721 win 7

still researching... I finally got everything sorted out. If it might interest someone? I'll give you my recipes:
1°) to activate the device, I finally downloaded the USB 2.0 ATV driver
2°) I abandoned Ulead Video Studio 10.... in English and impossible to work without a manual!
and oh miracle, with Pinnacle Studio 10.8 it works too!
- source: USB 2.0 ATV, the camcorder is recognized
- for sound: choose: digital audio interface (check in the bottom right of the screen: volume icon, right click, recording: digital audio interface --> active
listen to this device checked, level 85
- capture format: Mpeg 1/2 (high quality DVD)
- project preference: standard PAL
3°) after that it's classic Pinnacle studio .....
There you go, I hope I've been of service to some?....
