Hello,

It may seem silly, but I'm trying to find out how to highlight text in PowerPoint 2010?

Thanks in advance!

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.8

    Hello,

Don't worry, it's not silly, but this feature doesn't exist and has never existed in PowerPoint.

If there's not too much highlighting to do, you can place a color rectangle without a border over the text, to which you can assign a transparency... It's a workaround, but it can help.

Hello, in slideshow mode, at the bottom left, there is a highlighter feature that can be used and kept after exiting slideshow mode.

Um... And where is the transparency effect?

No, it's fine.. I right-clicked on the rectangle and chose "Send to Back".

      Good evening,

Otherwise, it's right-click on the shape => Format Shape => Fill => Transparency.
