Hello,
I will explain my problem as best as I can... My desktop computer running Windows XP had a sound card issue... (no mixer anymore...) so I searched for a solution on this forum. One of the suggestions was to check in the BIOS to ensure the sound card was enabled.
I accessed the computer's BIOS and made the wrong move by selecting "load optimized defaults"...
Since then, my computer won't start. It keeps rebooting at the Windows startup...
I still have access to the BIOS and safe mode with all my data!
Could this be a conflict issue (like drivers/peripherals) or a problem with the BIOS settings...
I can provide the settings of my BIOS if that's necessary...

I noticed that there is a Sata Mode option --IDE that can be changed... However, I don't know what needs to be modified to unlock it... :/

Normally, you need to disable the auto mode of the function above to access what is grayed out.
