Menara's POP and SMTP Solved

Question

Hi everyone  please I have a quick question to ask you: what are the POP and SMTP protocols for Menara (Maroc Telecom).  I need the answer as soon as possible.  Thank you so much.

the pop3 for menara is : pop.menara.ma  the smtp is : smtp.menara.ma

I am having issues with SMTP; I can't send outgoing mail through Microsoft Outlook 2003 despite the correct configuration tested by experts. However, I have no problems with incoming POP mail; I receive just fine. I tried with the Menara site, and it works, but with MS Outlook 2033, nothing.
Can you help me find a solution? Thank you.

me too the same problem I used smtp.menara.ma and pop.free.fr I received well but sending is not working.

But as I configured the Menara account (pop.menara.ma / smtp.menara.ma / my_login@menara.ma), everything is going well  the problem is with (smtp.menara.ma) and the other POPs.

I found the solution ?  The solution is to install an SMTP server and that way I don't need Menara's SMTP.

I tested the SMTP server on Windows XP.  It works  Messages are sent with a bit of delay but there are no more issues.

I celebrated victory too soon. To perform the test, I sent a message to myself: no problem.  However, sending an email to another address fails.  I'm looking for a solution.

The solution: create an account with Gmail and use the SMTP to send messages. It works.

Free messaging server:
POP: pop.free.fr
SMTP: smtp.free.fr

Google messaging server:
POP: pop.gmail.fr
SMTP: smtp.gmail.fr
but with port and encryption modifications (check the settings page in your Gmail account, everything is there)

Menara messaging server:
POP: pop.menara.fr
SMTP: smtp.menara.fr
*** *** *** ***

I think I have solved the problem by keeping pop@free.fr for incoming, which was working, and I configured smtp@menara.ma for outgoing messages, and it seems to be fine
the messages are going out, I hope they are arriving.

Hello everyone!!! Happy Eid Mubarak!
Solution to send messages on Outlook:
Open Outlook and click on Tools, then Account Settings, and you can select an account and modify the settings. When the Modify Account window opens, click on More Settings and then check the option for my outgoing server smtp ....... and there you go, click OK and test the settings to see the result. ;)
