Cubase: using 2 sound cards

Hi,
Unless there is an unexpected last update from Steinberg, we use only one configurable sound card in Cubase.
It's impossible to input through one and output through the other.
I'm working with Nuendo4 and I don't think I'm mistaken in stating that only one sound card can be managed by the Cubase ASIO which must be compatible with the driver of the sound card installed on the PC.
You need to set the ASIO for the sound card in the audio bay of Cubase, guys.
But it's impossible to use two sound cards at the same time.

"ha" is right, it is especially not in the Windows control panel that this is adjusted.
You should know that Cubase takes control of Windows audio management; in fact, if you try to play an mp3 on WMP after launching Cubase, you're headed straight for a BSOD and the loss of all your recorded session data in Cubase.

I recommend that you do not wait for the brilliant inspiration of the guitarist before crashing the machine, especially if you've paid the price of the plane ticket for his arrival.
