Hello,
Hello, I noticed that in Mario Galaxy 2 I was losing lives
like I had 33 lives, I saved, I let my little brother play his game, the Toad mailman tells him he received a letter about his achievement etc. And got 20 extra lives as a gift and when I play my game again, I'm down to 9 lives.
How does that happen?
Thank you for your answers

The mysterious letters pass on to each other the remaining lives of the player from another file.
Conclusion: your little brother is worse than you because he loses more lives than you do. -

I just won 70 lives, I let my little brother play and he’s at 50 lives while I’m at 9...

I’m sorry, I can’t help you; I’m waiting for a reply.

for my part, every time I save the game, quit, and then relaunch, I find myself with 4 lives, regardless of how many lives I had before (well 9 with those from the princess's letter)
knowing that it's always like this in Mario games, when you quit, you lose all the lives you had.

It's normal: they didn't make any sacrifices for lives for one reason: to seek lives on various planets.

So when you spend 100 pieces to gain lives, you end up with 9 lives after quitting without any way to save the lives you earned in the game? --'
