Hello,

Grrr, such a good Monday morning, and to start the week right, my Canon MP210 printer is acting up!!
I only use it as a scanner... on Friday it worked perfectly, and this morning it decided to give me an E27 error!!!
Does anyone have a solution to help me out? I urgently need it for my work (papers to scan and send to clients absolutely today).
Thank you very much for your help!

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

    Hello;
Error E27, the ink absorber is full.
I believe the counter needs to be reset

    Canon MP140/MP160/MP170/MP180/MP210/MP220/MP460/MP470/MP500/MP510/MP530/MP600/MP610/MP800/MP820/MP810/MP830/MP960/MP970:

    1. Turn off the printer.
    2. Press the "resume" button (red circle in the triangle), and while holding it, press "power".
    3. Release the "resume" button.
    4. Without releasing the "power" button, press "resume" twice and release both buttons.
    5. Press "resume" four times. Press power to confirm.
    6. Press "power" again to restart the printer.

Thank you ... but the trick doesn't work, it always gives me the same message.

Maybe we should change the cartridges ??
Have you tried scanning from the scanner function in XP?

This is always how I do my scanning by going through the computer and not by the button on the printer...
Regarding the cartridges... the black one has been empty for over a year and the scanner has always worked well until its little tantrum this morning...
Ugh, it's always when we need them the most that these damn machines let us down! Grrrr

Sorry, but I don't have any other solutions (I'm doing the same thing but with Epson without ink) unless E27 is related to an empty cartridge?? for Canon
      Have a good day anyway
