Strikethrough message in Outlook...and not deleted!

Hello,
there's a small technical issue...
having multiple identities in Outlook 2000, local folders have been created... so far, no problem...
The issue arises when trying to delete a message; it gets struck through and doesn’t move to the "trash"...
Is it just a checkbox to (un)check? Or is it something else?

    It happens to me too with the box I have at Free, but just emptying the trash deletes all the crossed-out messages.
