Hello,
my problem may seem dumb...
I have a small display issue. Everything is in italics: web pages, programs, messages, desktop... Yet I haven't changed anything. I was using a typography viewing software, I closed it, and a few minutes later, all the display switched to italics. How can I get the display back to "normal"?
Thank you for your responses,

Well, nothing in the Microsoft knowledge base
However, the phenomenon is starting to spread,
I just found messages on other forums
For me, it's fixed! :-)
One hit of Ad-Aware, a hit of SpyBot and it's back to normal
So it would seem to be caused by spyware
Voila Voila
Best regards

Good evening. I don’t know if you’ve solved the problem; me too, but simply on Firefox, not the messenger but some sites... I ran Spybot, Adaware, HijackThis, antivirus, nothing new. Sometimes the PC slows down or goes haywire, as does the mouse... I’m worried. Who has the answer?
Happy New Year to everyone -
Hello,
I have the same issue and here's how I solved it:
- Right-click on the desktop, Properties (Graphics options screen)
- Go to the "Appearance" tab
- Change the "Font size" (Large for example), then click APPLY
- Reset the "Font size" to "Normal" and click APPLY.
It worked for me, I can't guarantee it will work in every case.

Hi, I’ve had the same issue since September 21, on Windows XP SP2.
Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox both display all web pages in italics. Where could this come from?
Thanks -

For my part, I solved this display error in italics by “restoring the system” a week ago, i.e., one day before this problem. Since the restoration, italics have not reappeared. This thing happened after a Windows Update, I suppose it was a bug.
As for knowing why... -
Hello,
Strangely my problem was solved by restarting my computer... I admit I don’t understand.

Yet another of the dark mysteries of computing! :-)
I’ve tried looking through all the options, menus, etc., and I can’t find anything!
but I also did a Windows update a few days ago
I’m going to take a look in the Microsoft knowledge base; there might be something
In any case, thanks for your answers
Kind regards
Dollie
