Line spacing of 15 Word 2003

Hello, I'm taking an exam at the end of the year on the internship I just completed in a company. I need to write an internship report that must comply with a number of constraints, particularly regarding the format.

I am indeed asked to have a line spacing of 15.

Is that a line spacing of 1.15, 1.5, or something else? (I'm not very familiar with computers). Just a little precision, I have Word 2003.

Thanks in advance!

Good evening,

No, it’s not absurd to impose a line spacing of 15!
It is 15 points.
The font size is measured in points. For a typical document of this type, 12 points is often used. If you're asked for a line spacing of 15, that will create a little extra space of 3 points, which seems quite normal.
In the Paragraph dialog box in Word, under the Line Spacing section, choose the "At least" option, then set the value to 15.

Don't select "Exactly," because that can cause issues if you want to insert, for example, a large character on the line.

Hello Benoit57,

I think it would be better to ask your teachers. In my opinion, it's a typographical error: an interline of 15 seems completely absurd to me.

So there are 3 possibilities:

1) They forgot the comma and it should be line spacing of 1.5, which seems the most plausible to me.
2) They completely forgot to put the unit (but that seems a bit far-fetched!), which would be an interline of 1.15.
3) It's not line spacing but paragraph spacing (50 seems enormous to me).

If my life depended on it, I would choose option 1.

Yes, a 15-point line spacing seemed a bit strange to me. I will check with my teachers.

Thank you for your response ^^
