HOW TO ADD MARGINAL NOTES IN WORD. Solved

Salut, under WORD XP, how can we place "footnotes" not at the bottom of the page but in the margins, with the corresponding number of course? Thank you.

If I take your explanation literally, the answer is: NO

However, nothing prevents you from creating a table (2 columns) and inserting the fields (insert/fields) found in the "footer" into the column you want...

Thank you. I thought about it, I'll check that if my text doesn't fall apart. But I think my layout will have to change. I don't have the footnotes yet, I wanted to make the margin notes directly.

I am making an invitation in Word, the invitation was supposed to have two sides; the first side was supposed to have a photo as well as the mention "invitation" and the second was to have a frame, the second part was to have a frame and text, the problem I am facing is that I can't print while matching the outer frame to that of the inner one.

My friends, there's nothing simpler!!!
Place your cursor at the end of the word for which you want to add a footnote.
Then: Insert -> Insert Footnote ->
And there, the little number 1 appears next to your word, and at the bottom of the page, you just have to write your note, and if you want more ----------> NO PROBLEM!!
You repeat the same process and a little 2 will show up, and so on...
