Error 6C10 Solved/Closed

Question

Hello,

How to fix error 6C10 for Canon MP550 printers???
I have done 3 or 4 prints with my printer and since then every time I start a print, this message appears???

Thank you for responding if someone can help me resolve this issue.

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.5.3

Thank you, it worked. I cleaned the band and the rail that allows the ink block to move. There were some dust particles stuck on it that were obstructing. I deduce that a 6c10 error requires a good cleaning!

Good evening,
Move the print head to the center and turn off the printer. Then check to the right to see if there is a jam due to paper or something else.

After struggling with the equipment and also considering getting it repaired, after executing the various
solutions proposed on http://imprimante-en-question.blogspot.com/2009/08/imprimante-canon-pixma-mp540.html, I simply removed the paper tray, manipulated the 2 latches (on the left & bottom right), replaced the paper and properly secured it with the latches, reinserted the tray and started a copy, and it worked. A good cleaning, handling the drawer paper clips, and we're off again. Thank you very much. Three years later, still just as effective advice.
