Unknown movie title!

Hello, I’m looking for an old movie, I think it was shot in the 80s-90s, it’s the story of a woman in her thirties who is driving her car and suddenly she can’t stop! She is accompanied by a skater and an old man, all three take a highway that was closed following this incident, they drive at over 140! I don’t remember the title at all, it’s not a very well-known film. Help!!! Thank you!!

    This German series created in 1996 is filled with action and explosions. Each episode features numerous stunts.
    A police unit, Cobra 11, patrols the highways in the Cologne and Dusseldorf region. This team takes care of the safety of highway users. They must solve many investigations while driving Semir Gerkhan’s gray BMW or his partner’s blue Mercedes. Over the 11 seasons of the series, Semir changes partners. At first, he teams up with André Fux, then with Tom Kranich and finally with Jan Richter. There are two or three additional seasons but which do not feature the same team: it concerns a man and a woman.

    This action-packed German police series is great. If you have the chance to watch it, go ahead, you won’t regret it. This series is largely on par with American series that you see regularly.

    The first episodes of each season are sometimes aired as two-part films. The episode or film referred to by Stéphane in his comment is titledThe Crazy Car. It is the first season where Tom Kranich appears. A woman with a baby picks up a hurried businessman. She hits a police officer on a bike, Tom Kranich (episodes 1 and 2 of season 7, original title: Hollenfahrt auf der A4). It was his first day in the highway patrol brigade in replacement of André Fux. The young woman’s car leaves the garage but a problem occurs and the car speeds up on its own. Then begins a long high-speed chase on the highway.

    I think the main actress in the movie was Megan Follows. But I can't find the title of the film :(

    Thanks to everyone for replying! But I don’t think that’s the German series unfortunately, I remember this movie aired on Nrj12 a few years ago :D

    This isn’t an episode of the German series Cobra, but an American TV movie. It is “Panique sur la voie express” (1997) ("Runaway Car" for the original title).
