No Internet Access - Windows 7

Hello,
I've been having a connection problem for two days that I can't seem to resolve.
I have a Dell Studio PC running Windows 7 (purchased in February). Everything was working perfectly until after a night in sleep mode, it became impossible to connect to any internet network (my NEUF modem or other available wireless hotspot networks).
In fact, in the network center, it appears that I am connected, but below, I get the message "no internet access."
In the "Status" dialog box of the selected network, it says: "IPv4 connectivity: no internet access." The same goes for IPv6.
I've restarted/unplugged/replugged my modem, I performed a system restore, and I also followed the instructions in this tutorial: http://www.tutoriaux-excalibur.com /forum-7/reseau-non-identifie-pas-d-acces-internet-pour-seven-t1030.html# ...
But nothing works, still no internet access.
I should note that I also disabled my antivirus and firewall.
Right now I'm using an old PC (with a cracked screen ^^:p) running XP which, by the way, connects without a problem.
Could a kind soul help me identify the source of the problem and help me resolve this mess???
Thanks!

Thank you brupala, but I found my problem! Actually, I set a fixed IP on the local network to create a mini LAN, and I didn't switch it back to automatic! In all the posts, everyone was talking about fixed IPs, and I only looked at the Wi-Fi card configuration, not the local network card! I just checked, and that was the issue! Thanks a lot for responding so quickly anyway!

EDIT: To restore the default network settings, press the Windows key+R simultaneously, then type cmd and validate with Ctrl+Shift+Enter, then enter the following commands:

ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset
netsh winhttp reset proxy
netsh winhttp reset tracing
netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ipv4 reset catalog
netsh int ipv6 reset catalog
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Hello,
I need your assistance please,
I created a hotspot from my PC running Windows, but when I share the connection, the client devices receive the message "unable to connect to the internet."
