Hello,
In the past, I used to use Google Earth very often. But the latest versions have only provided blurry and completely unusable images, so I got rid of them.
- Optimistically, I just installed the latest version 5.1.3534.411.
So I install the app in the applications folder. In the package, there is also a plug-in that says: "double-click this icon to install". I double-click it. But either this action is not correct, or Google Earth is no longer usable. Question: Should I, instead of clicking on the plug-in, move it directly to my hard drive? If yes, into which folder?
- On the download page, Google Earth also shows the option to install version 5.0 for Mac, which I tried. However, when I first opened GE, I was faced with the necessity to install an update module as well as the latest update, otherwise, I had to quit the application. So, I find myself once again with 5.1.3534.411 and the total blur problem.
Has anyone resolved this issue, or should I give up on this app?
Thank you in advance for all your ideas.

Hello TORELIA
as I see we have the same setup
I installed this GE from =
https://www.google.com/earth/download/gep/agree.html
by only going through the first part of the installation and thus not installing this plug-in - I haven't noticed any particular obligation -
it actually seems quite correct and interesting in pure quality -
I will try to install this plug-in to perhaps understand something
see you ++++++++
