Hello
Generally, the BIOS doesn’t seem to include an option to boot from a USB key, am I mistaken or not? In any case my motherboard only offers 3 options:
HD / DVD / Drive
Is there a way to boot from a USB key?
Thanks :)

Configuration: MOBO: Asus P5QL PRO
Intel Core 2 Quad @2.5GHz HDD: 160 GB RAM: 2GB
OS: Ubuntu 9.10
Firefox 3.6.3

    Hello

you only need to go into the BIOS and set your USB key as the first boot device, before your external hard drives...

apparently your key isn't recognized, what is it formatted as?

    Hi there
I went into the BIOS but, as mentioned in the first post, it doesn’t offer me the USB boot option, that’s what my question is about, is there a way to fix that?
It’s still curious, the motherboard is recent, the BIOS can’t be that old, I’m surprised it doesn’t offer that option...
