How to disable "screen mirroring"

Hello,
I made the unfortunate decision to check the "Enable screen mirroring" box after connecting my external monitor, and since then, when I reconnect the external monitor, the display disappears and is replaced by the same random colorful patterns on both the laptop screen and the external monitor...
I wonder if it's possible to disable the "Enable screen mirroring" command via command line, or if someone has another idea...
