No friend suggestions on Facebook!!

Hello,
Since last week, I no longer have friend suggestions on my Facebook homepage.
In fact, Facebook was only suggesting 2 friends (in the upper left corner), and they were always the same for a few days, and since I clicked on the crosses, I haven’t had any at all!!!
It’s silly because, unlike the “friends” page, the homepage indicated the number of mutual friends.
I can’t seem to restore this feature, and I need your help, please.

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.5.8
