Hello,
I’ve never used the line out of my amplifier (Fender Roc Pro 1000).
I’d like to know if when you use the line out you also get the amp’s effects or if it’s the raw sound?
This amp has no headphone output, so how can I simulate one?
I thought about a headphone amp but the question remains: “when you use the line out do you also get the amp’s effects or is it the raw sound?”
I also see several opinions about plugging a headset directly into the line out.
My goal would be to be able to record 2 guitars and a bass but with the amp settings, and possibly play through headphones.
I’m ready to buy either a headphone amp, a small mixer, or an interface but not unnecessarily, so thanks in advance.

Hi,\n\nfrankly, if you’re going to buy something to do your guitar/bass recordings, you might as well invest in something like a POD or M-Audio BlackBox (USB amp simulators with effects).\n\nThe sound will be cleaner, the wiring simpler, and the use easier to use!\n\nTo properly mic an amp, it’s at the mic in front of the speaker cabinet, otherwise it’s meh.\n\nsee you later

I agree, but my primary goal is to practice the settings on my amp (with headphones).
Do you know if the line out also outputs the effects?
"I also see several opinions about plugging a headset directly into the line out." what do you think?
