PDF not found

Hello everyone,
Every time I save a copy of a PDF document to my desktop, this doc cannot be found.

Yet when I redo the operation it tells me that the document is already saved.
Besides, in the window that opens during saving, I can see my document on the desktop.

A week ago, it offered to open the folder where my document was located at the end of the save. Now it doesn’t do that anymore.
The path to that folder seemed to be particular.

Even with the Search function, it remains unfound.

Would someone have a solution?

Thanks in advance

Hello, my PDF files no longer open; a window appears saying that the application cannot be found.
I checked my Adobe Acrobat program on my desktop, the icon still exists but it won’t open.

Hello

Do you search only in the Desktop or across the entire C: drive?

I did it on both... and no answer!

When I was offered to open the folder where my document was located, a window opened with a folder named C. I then had to open more folders until I found one named desktop where my document was located.

You know that each user has their own Desktop directory, are you sure you’re in your own?
Are you using Acrobat Reader when you save your copies?
Generally, I don’t put files on the desktop, only shortcuts, since the desktop is always open; in case of Windows crash there’s a higher risk of losing everything. The links are easy to redo.
