Hello,
My IDM cannot download via FTP, so I want to disable it to be able to download drivers for my HP printer with Windows.
Thank you

Open IDM / Options / General tab and check the integration.

    Hello,

Is IDM integrated into a browser?

    Thank you sfaxx.
In Integration IDM, the small boxes in front of the browser names are all checked.
    - Apple Safari
    - Google Chrome
    - Internet Explorer
    - Mozilla
    - Mozilla Firefox
    - Netscape 6 and later
    - Opera
I would like to let you know that I am only using Internet Explorer 8 as my browser, can I uncheck the others for that reason?
Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with images; otherwise, things would be much clearer.
    Thank you

You indeed uncheck the other browsers.
Then in the Internet Explorer options, you open 'manage add-ons' and you deactivate and reactivate IDM as you wish.

I hope I was able to help you.

    Thank you sfaxx,
but after following the steps you requested to the letter, IDM insists on downloading the file.
Do I just need to completely uninstall it or what!!!
Anyway, I managed to block it, but the download with Windows also failed and the transfer speed remains very low.
Thank you sfaxx for your help and I will look for another way.
