Friend request pending confirmation

Hello,
a few days ago on Facebook, I sent a friend request. It turns out that when I go to their profile, I still see "pending confirmation."
But curiously, when I am on my Facebook feed, I see that this person has become friends with someone else!!! So how is it possible that I can see their activities (specifically that they became friends with someone, but not yet with me since I am still pending confirmation)?
Because if they had accepted me, I would have normally received a notification, right?
It's strange that I can still see their activities on my feed even though apparently they have not yet approved me?
So could you enlighten me on this matter?

Hi, since it's pending confirmation, can you still see her activities or did she just set her Facebook that way? If you can, write to her and ask her to validate you quickly because, as you said, she has accepted other people. I don't know her, so I don't know if she has refused you or if she hasn't accepted you yet.
