USB key recognition issue on digital photo frame

Hello,
I have a Telefunken Sofamily digital photo frame and none of the USB drives I plug into it can be read. The memory card from my camera is an XD and this frame only accepts MS or SD cards. The USB drive is therefore the only way for me to transfer photos to this frame. Any ideas to help me out? Thanks.
