Problem with a LG RHT 497 H player

Hello,

I just bought an LG RHT497H,
when starting the programming, everything is stuck,
The display shows OTA!
What should I do???
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

    We are experiencing the same issue today! We purchased the player in May 2010
    What did you do to fix this problem?

    Hello,

    I have the same problem since yesterday: LG DVD recorder DRT389H stuck on OTA! Unable to insert a DVD, use the USB stick, or even watch TV.
    Do you have a solution?

    Response this morning from LG:

    "We acknowledge receipt of your email.
    You have reported a malfunction concerning your LG DRT389H product.

    This message may mean that your transmitter antenna wants to apply a program update over the air (OTA: On The Air).

    However, if no update starts, and you no longer have access to the product menu, there may be a malfunction with a capacitor and this requires verification at a service center.

    In order to verify the warranty of your product and to create a customer service file, please provide us with the following information:

    - Phone number
    - First and last name
    - Postal code, City, Address,
    - Email,
    - Full product code and Serial number
    - Date of purchase and retailer

    We remain at your disposal for any further requests.

    My player is exactly 3 years old. So it is no longer under warranty...
