Hello everyone, for the past 2 days my screen has been completely pink, I can't access the taskbar. I've tried to boot in safe mode but to no success! I would like to know why my screen looks like this, and how I can fix it. Thank you in advance

Hello,

Check the connections between the PC and the monitor.
Also check if the issue is with the graphics card or the monitor by connecting another monitor to your PC or testing your monitor on another PC.

So I just swapped the monitor (which I thought was the source of the problem) with my tower, and it turns out the monitor works perfectly! So actually, it's the tower that's having an issue. However, I can still browse the internet without any problems. So what should I do now?

There are buttons on the screen (not where it displays stuff but on the edges) pressing on them will open a menu and there you look for how to change that because it depends on your screen

Yes, I followed your advice, and it made me doubt because I know that at one point, while trying to move the screen, I pressed some screen buttons, but I know that it had nothing to do with it! So it really is the unit that's the issue.

Reconnecting the PC, is the problem still there? If so, it might be a graphics card issue... maybe the drivers, let's be optimistic... try reinstalling the GPU drivers.

So I wanted to download a drivers-update software and the computer restarted by itself, and this is not the first time! So I completely unplugged the computer and reconnected everything, and it's unsuccessful!!! I can't attempt anything without the computer automatically shutting down!

I believe that the problem is with the 15-pin connector between the PC and the screen.

I think the cable must be defective since unplugging and replugging doesn't do anything, so it needs to be replaced in my opinion...

It's not the cable because when I tried the screen (so with its cables) with my tower, the screen was perfect! So I concluded that the problem came from the central unit! Imagine if I open the back of my unit and slightly move the graphics card, I might have a chance to fix the problem... but I might also mess up the tower!....... I'm lost! It's annoying and the tower is only 3 years old! The worst part is that the day before everything was fine! I was finishing a mission on WoW! .......

go to the desktop and right-click, then properties, then settings, then on color quality, set it to 32 bits

In my opinion, it's a problem that requires the intervention of a technician... probably a hardware issue with the Graphics Card.

It's clear I agree we won't be able to do much, but what you can do is test the CPU with another screen to confirm whether the issue comes from the CPU or the screen...

If the screen is still pink and if the PC is still under warranty, call the technical support service of the brand of the PC (for example HP, Acer, or others, the number is available on each manufacturer's website)...

If the screen no longer displays pink, change the screen, but if you can perform the test of completely changing the VGA or DVI screen cable, that would be good.
