Hello,
I have a big problem with my Nintendo DSi:
1. I turn it on
2. I wait 2 seconds
3. Right away instead of saying "Nintendo DSi" on the upper screen, it shows in yellow at the top right "0000FE00"
So if you could help me, thanks to whoever can find a solution.
Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.5.8

If anyone is still interested, I fixed mine by leaving it on to fully drain it, then I turned it back on with the charger and happily, the menu works, it's back to normal.

Did you have the same problem with this one 0000FE00?

Well, I'm sending it to Nintendo; no one is responding.

    It's a bootloader error!
Let me explain briefly: A chip called "NAND" is no longer communicating with the rest of the system, which creates a short circuit. I hope this helps you. I have the same problem too. It can happen:
    - By using a linker or a DSi action replay
    - By dropping it
    - By turning it off during an update
    - By turning it off while saving a game
    - By turning it off while modifying a part of the console.
There you go, I'm sorry but it's irreparable, unless you know about soldering and a bit about electronics, but then you risk causing even more damage.

Hello, these were his explanations, but not at all. I still have this problem. I turned it on and suddenly I saw that, yet I was very careful with it. It didn't have any shocks, and still, it gave me this problem. I care a lot about this device, and please can you talk a bit more about it and ask Nintendo, because I don't speak English very well. Thank you.

I think your DS must have had a shock (fell on the ground, ...) or it's bugging! You need to see where you bought it!
