Hello,
can someone help me because when I turn on my computer the screen displays “input: analogue” and goes black a few seconds later. It was working fine and then suddenly the screen goes black, and every time I turn it off and on again it shows input analogue and then goes black again.

please help me, I don’t know what to do.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Have you checked the connections? According to the message, it's one of your cables that might be improperly connected, or your screen has multiple inputs (like a TV when you press AV) and it's not set to the right one. Try that first; if it still doesn't work, it could be an issue with a faulty graphics card.

Hi,

Check if you've properly connected your screen, and if you have a button to switch from analog to digital (I have one).

I'm on Windows 7 and yes, the screen has an input button, but I don't really know how to use it, and also the screen goes black after two or three seconds, so there's not really enough time to figure it out. It has other inputs as well, but as I said, I don't know much about this. For your information, I have properly connected the cable that connects the CPU to the screen, but I've still noticed that there's a small pin missing in the connection of the cable (I mean one of the many little metal bars that make the connection). I'm not really sure what that’s called. I'm thinking maybe the cable is worn out. So what do you think? Please.

Possible, but if you have two cable inputs (Analog and Digital) there is a button to choose, just press it!

I also forgot to tell you that when I plug it into another screen, it works. It's a bit slow, but it works nonetheless. So there you go............

No, I doubt it. Have you tried pressing the input button until a signal is potentially received?

I tried, but it turns black too quickly, and so I don't know what's happening. And when I turn it off and turn it back on, it still shows the analog input message and goes black right away.

You'll need to describe your problem a bit more!

Start by giving your configuration! ;) Then, does your PC start up? Do you hear any beeps? Do the fans turn on?

Yes, so you have to redirect your video signal by pressing input until you find the right input.

I've tried pressing the input button several times, but it's still a black screen. Maybe I'm not skilled, but I thank you all for your advice.

you might have been right, so try changing your cable.

Alright, I’m going to buy another one and I’ll keep you updated, but I don’t know if that’s really it since it was working before, but it doesn’t cost anything to try. Thanks..........
