Inputs for a hi-fi tuner: phono, tape...

Hello,
Can you tell me if there are any differences in technology and therefore in quality between these aux, phono, and tape inputs on a hi-fi tuner? I would like to connect my PC to this tuner, but I have already used the aux input to connect my DVD recorder, and I am satisfied with it; I would prefer not to touch it. However, when I connect my PC using the phono input, there is a dull hum that I can't tolerate, and when using the tape input (the round one with 5 pins), I don’t hear anything. Thank you.

    Hello

The phono input of a hi-fi tuner is an analog input that is poorly managed by DVD players or PCs, more simply intended for turntables for 33 RPM records

Can you still tell me if I could use the input "tape". I have 2: one that is round with 5 pins (in/out) and 2 others for regular red and white sockets (one is in, the other is out). Thanks.

you need to try input audio, output
Actually, it depends on the age of your amplifier, to see if it manages digital or not

Attention, a DAC must be used to perform the digital to analog conversion!
