Cmd.exe appears and disappears at startup.

Hello,

This morning when I opened my computer, I was surprised to see a small black page appear and disappear quickly from my screen. It was so quick that the only way I could see what it was, was by taking a screenshot. After several attempts, here’s what I saw:

http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/9439/crannoir.png

"'HANMODES' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file"

I searched my computer and found nothing called HANMODES. I have Kaspersky and I ran a scan, found nothing. I honestly don’t know what could have happened for this to occur; I haven't downloaded anything. It doesn’t slow down my computer, but it’s really annoying.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hello,
Go to start, all programs, accessories, right-click on run, choose run as administrator and confirm, type: msconfig and OK. Startup tab, uncheck anything related to cmd or hanmodes, apply and OK. Restart and see what happens.

I have exactly the same issue, but I don't have any lines to uncheck that include "cmd" or "hanmodes" in the startup tab of msconfig.

Check if you have Photoshop launching at startup, if so, uncheck everything related to Photoshop.

I have the same problem as you and I still haven't found a solution. Moreover, I don't have Photoshop.

    Hello,
I have the same problem as you, except it appeared after I tried to install the drivers for my Bluetooth dongle.
So I went to START and typed MSCONFIG, then I unchecked the Bluetooth services at startup and restarted my PC.
Since then, the message hasn't appeared again.
Phew, it was becoming very annoying.

Is it possible that this is a joke from someone? My brother would be the type to do that...
