I tried to watch a video in AVI format. I want to open it with VLC and when I launch it, it says
VLC media player just crashed. Do you want to send a bug report to the developer team?
I say yes, but nothing happens. Help me please, thanks.

Hello, just clear the VLC cache!  Go to the file explorer, type %APPDATA% and hit enter.  Look for the "vlc" folder and delete it completely.  Restart VLC and it should work.

Hi,  try reinstalling VLC, if the problem persists, try playing it with Windows Media Player.
