How to connect my mixing desk?

Solved

Hello,
I recently bought a mixing console, two CD turntables, and two speakers with built‑in amplifiers. My problem is that when I listen to a CD, the sound is really bad. I’ve tested all the possible effects on my mixing console and it still doesn’t work. I wanted to know if the problem might be due to my connections.

Could you please tell me how to connect all this equipment together?
Thanks in advance, Ciao !

    hi,

from a Mac... I don’t have a mixing table but can you connect it in stereo audio L/R to the amp, and connect it via USB to the PC? or then MIDI if you have a MIDI input on the PC or an external sound card.

what connection mode do you currently have?

But actually, I’m just trying to plug my speakers into my mixing desk, not my computer. Basically I have three RCA cables to connect, I’ve set my two turntables to “LINE” on both OUTPUT 1 and OUTPUT 2 of my mixing desk. But for the speakers, I have either “AMP” or “TAPE” on the main OUT. The problem is that I get good sound but not very loud, and I don’t know where that’s coming from =S

a sound that's really not loud at all even coming from the amp?

try the two connections you mentioned and see if that changes anything. I don't have a mixer table so I don't know which of the two connections is better

Well, done, I finally bought back a RCA cable, mine was too old and bugged.

    Thanks anyway, though, bye!
