Intranet network connection

Hello

I want to connect to my company's INTRANET and retrieve my work emails. I have my username and password. Do you think it's possible? What information (like proxy code, script, etc.) do I need to access this network?

    Your company has an Extranet site that allows you to access your email. You need a VPN client if there is a VPN server in your company that allows you to access your company's resources.

    Ok, but sorry, I’m a beginner in this type of network.
    Specifically, what is a VPN client? Is it software? An IP address?
    What hardware do I need?

    I asked for information from my company; apparently, no one was able to answer me; they’re not very skilled!

    So a VPN is a connection between your computer and a remote server...
    Basically, it creates a tunnel between your computer and the server...

    To establish this connection, you need several things...
    - a router that supports VPN (BEWAN for example, around €300)
    - create a VPN server (on your server)
    - create a VPN client (on your computer)

    And there you go, you're all set; then you'll find plenty of tutorials online...
    If not, ask me, I have videos that explain the VPN very, very well

      Hello Antoine!
      Actually, I am a Master's student in Computer Science and my graduation project is to create a grade management software for a faculty (basically, it involves downloading a secure Excel file where a professor can only modify their own cells and cannot change other professors' cells, it’s secured, and the professors enter students' grades for their modules) all on an intranet network. If someone has any ideas regarding the project, please help me, I’m really lost :'( , furthermore, I haven’t found any documentation :'( :'( . This project was proposed to meet the needs of my faculty. Help me please!!!!!!!!
