Does the SD card affect photo quality?

Hello,
I would like to know if choosing a good SD card could influence the quality of photos taken with a digital camera? Or are SD cards only different by their capacity?

    no, not at all, the camera is the most important for image quality.
    as you mentioned in the second option of your message they are only there for the possible photo storage capacity.

    no, quality depends on the device, the lens, the device's software that records to the card, and your settings... what mainly varies on memory cards is the format, storage capacity, and write speed.
