Hello,
while trying to clean my HP Deskjet 1280 printer, I accidentally removed the encoder (plastic strip) and now I can't put it back. On the left side, there is indeed a notch, but not on the right!
What should I do?

RESOLVED!
Here's how I did it: actually, in the printer, above the bar on which the print heads move, there are two parallel toothed bands. Above each side, there are notches; you need to put the band back on these two notches by passing it through the designated area in the moving head! You'll see, it's very visible!
The first time, the head was hitting the side because I had put the band on the wrong way :) so all you have to do is redo it by changing the direction!!
Well, I solved my problem all by myself!
