PS3 NOT DETECTING MY CONTROLLER

Solved

Hello,

I bought a PlayStation 3 about a week ago. However, most of the time, the console does not detect the controller. In short, I can only use the controller to turn on the PS3.
In fact, after turning on the console, the controller flashes quickly and stops after a minute, without being detected.

I went to the customer service to exchange my controller, thinking that the problem was with the controller. But I see that this is not the case; the problem persists.

Thank you for trying to address my issue.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

1-Plug in your wired controller.
2-Turn on your PS3 from the console.
3-Press the PS button and turn off the system.
4-Unplug your controller and press the PS button again. Wonder, it works.

either you have something between your Play and you
or it’s the sensor of your PS3 that’s malfunctioning
so go to customer service with your Play and with a bit of luck, they’ll exchange it for you and you’ll have it by Christmas

It's brand new.

I think I'm going to go to customer service, that way I'll be at ease.

By the way, can you tell me where the "thing" is that allows the PS3 (slim) to detect the controller, please?

Thank you very much for replying, anyway!

I believe she is on the front facade
you can recognize it by a less opaque plastic
actually, it’s often the shortest distance between you and the console

It's when a buddy wants to connect his controller to my console that I encounter this problem!

Hi,

did you buy the plechtechion second-hand?
Is it still under warranty? If so, take it to customer service and it's sorted!
If not, ...

Good luck.
