Hello,
I am on Windows 7, and recently the "Folder Options and Search" option in Explorer is grayed out, making it impossible to access.
Does anyone know how to get me out of this mess?

Good evening,
Go to start, in the search bar, type: regedit and hit enter. Follow this path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\policies\explorer, in the right pane, the value NoFolderOptions must be 0. To change it, double-click on it, set it to 0 and click OK. Restart the PC.

However, no need to restart, just kill the process explorer.exe and restart it (with the task manager of course).
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
For me, that's where the key "NoFolderOptions" was.
