We need to stop saying that downloading is illegal; you can very well download files that are free of rights or open using P2P. We should stop being hypocrites a bit... Furthermore, if you were more precise, you would have mentioned that you can add a tracker to a torrent's list of trackers as long as the torrent supports it. On uTorrent, you just need to right-click on the torrent, then go to properties, and add the address of the tracker previously found in the list, while respecting the punctuation...

You're welcome.

One year later...
98% of the files available on P2P are illegal files subject to copyright laws.

It's definitely stupid to get caught for downloading those 2% copyright-free.

I tried on Fnac Music but the download went very badly, the customer service is nonexistent, and goodwill gestures are not part of their habits. Other than that, you'd have to pay to get crap but at least be at ease legally.

If, like me, you use P2P to share your data with a large family spread out across the world, you will understand that by not downloading copyrighted files, you don't risk anything at all. Peer-to-peer sharing software is not illegal... At least, not yet ;)
