Help! Simple question, should I delete this folder?

Hello,
My hard drive is almost full and after doing some research I found that there are hidden files, and here is my problem: I have a file called GDELTEMP that takes up 31GB and when I click on it, it asks me which program I want to open it with. Can I delete it? Thanks
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.15

    According to the name, it seems to be a temporary file, but it's up to you to decide
