Hello,
My Oceanic LCD TV 20NE0106S00 suddenly loses the picture while keeping the sound.
I am connected to my FREEBOX TV via the Scart connector (RGB mode) and RCA cables (Video mode). When the TV works normally, both modes can be used interchangeably. However, when the screen goes black, even trying to switch modes with the remote doesn't help to recover the picture: the screen turns black, the sound functions, and the standby light remains green. It seems to be an issue with the screen's power supply.
I also occasionally experience the TV completely turning off: everything shuts down (image and sound), the standby light blinks red, at the same frequency as the green power indicator. At that point, I can't turn it back on without unplugging everything, waiting, and restarting... In this case, it seems to come from the general power supply of the TV.
However, when I test the power supply, it delivers 15V with the correct polarity as indicated on the box...
Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
Thank you for your response, but apparently this has nothing to do with the speed of my line: the FREEBOX works perfectly with my old CRT TV (in low speed indeed, but nonetheless), and the same problem occurs when watching a movie from the Freebox hard drive (I don't have a DVD player, but the principle is equivalent). This is clearly a power issue, you can distinctly see the image cutting out as if the plug was suddenly pulled, sometimes the backlighting stays on, sometimes there's absolutely nothing.
I got this TV from my neighbor who threw it away because of this problem, and who bought the same one again. I wanted to know if this issue is known by any of you regarding this type of TV, but in the meantime, I will borrow his new power supply to do a test...
Thank you for your feedback, it can still help! -
Is this only happening with Free, or is it constant, with a DVD player for example?
It may be that your line is unstable or the speed is too low to receive TV via ADSL.

For standard definition TV, you need around 2.5 megabits.
