Change the background color of web pages

just to know, where is this famous setting with Maxtron .... I searched, found nothing that would allow that, except being overwhelmed by ads.

In the past, there was an addon for Firefox (accessibar) that worked really well. I used it because I also have vision problems. You need to find an old version of Firefox; I did this by using VirtualBox and installed Firefox 3. It still works today. There was also a way to modify the addon so that it would work on a newer version, and that worked too, but as of today, the addon has been discontinued. For your information, it allowed you to modify everything (especially the color of the pages, the font, and more), and of course, it was possible to revert to the default configuration with one click or change the web page in two clicks.

For your information, with Windows 7, I use the following trick: right-click on your desktop, personalize, and switch your Windows to classic mode (not 7bassic) because this will not affect web pages. Then, on the window color option, a window will open where you can change everything, especially the color 'see where it says: item, and the window option, then make the various other adjustments, for example, the color of the tooltips, the border of the windows, etc.... You need to take your time and see what changes with each action, also look at word processing pages. This really adds value for those who have vision problems or are sensitive to screen brightness, another solution is glasses with anti-glare treatment, and I also use (clip-on glasses, not too expensive, around €10 at the fishing store or a store whose name ends with thlon) glasses that fishermen use (anti-glare), it's really effective, even for TV.

Here is a concrete example obtained from the same web page (pc astuce) with different color settings for the page and font obtained on January 14, 2017, from Firefox 3 on VirtualBox.
