Hello,

I want to transfer my wallpaper from one computer to another. It's a personal infographic project, so it can't be found on the internet.

However, I believe the .jpg has been deleted from my hard drive. It's nowhere to be found in the folder where I had placed it, and the search function can't locate it on my computer.

Yet, it still displays, which means it must exist somewhere, perhaps in the temporary files or in the Windows files. I don't want to move all the icons and take a screenshot, especially since the original image resolution was very high.

So here it is, where can I find my desktop wallpaper when it has been deleted from my documents?

    C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

      On Windows 7:
      Local Disk ---> type in the search bar: *.jpg
      All the photos on the computer will be displayed.
