Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy and I can't set a photo as a wallpaper without cropping it. Does anyone have a solution?
Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

Two things:
1 - The orange frame is modifiable! It’s not necessarily easy, but you can enlarge it by accurately targeting its edges.
2 - If the image is too big, you need to process it elsewhere to reduce it (even Paint can be sufficient). For the Galaxy S, the wallpaper has a resolution of 960 * 800.

Xavier, I think I have located the problem regarding the size of the photos. But it has nothing to do with the photo itself. I believe it’s due to the fact that there are three different desktop panels, and thus the image stretches across all three. What I haven’t found is how to ensure there’s only one panel (I’m not sure if that’s possible). P.S.: I’ve seen some of your responses in other places online about this, and I find your way of responding to certain people not very nice. There are no stupid questions.

I found the solution to remove the panels. You need to go to the home screen and pretend to reduce an image; all the panels will then appear on the screen, and you can remove them just like applications using the bar at the bottom of the screen. So you can therefore take off and delete the panels that you can.
