wallpaper too large Solved/Closed

Question

Hello! When I download a photo from my album as a wallpaper, it is oversized and a bit blurry; how can I resize it? Note that this does not happen for all photos.

Hello, are you using Windows Seven? If so, you need to do the following: right-click on a part of the desktop and click on "Personalize." Then go to "Desktop Background" - "Wallpaper," and for "Picture Position," choose center, stretch, etc.

The wallpaper adjusts the image to the screen size; if it is too small from the start, the image will be blurry or pixelated. To keep this photo in its original format and to prevent it from taking up the entire screen size, a margin should be created all around it. This can be done with "Paint" or another image editing software.

If it's for the photo on the desktop, you go to your desktop, right-click, click on "properties", then the "display properties" panel opens, you go to the "desktop" tab, and at the bottom right you have the "position" function where you can select your choice between center, mosaic & stretch, and normally your photos should not appear larger.

There is a small free software called "image resizer" available for download on Clubic or elsewhere. It allows you to resize the image to the pixel dimensions of your screen. Caution: keep the original for any possible printing.

Under seven, it depends on the version; with the starter version, you can't set the wallpaper to any dimension you want, you can only use the predefined wallpapers.

I found a solution
to start, right-click on your desktop (where there’s nothing) go to screen resolution, note the measurement that appears as recommended, open a photo program, I used PhotoFiltre, create a new image with a black background (but you can use whatever you want) at the dimensions of my screen resolution and pasted the desired photo so that it’s centered and looks nice. Here’s a solution to then set it as your wallpaper.
