Ovi store connection for Nokia E71

Hello,

I bought a Nokia E71, and I would like to download some applications from the Ovi Store.
So, I created a Nokia account, but when I try to download any applications via my phone, I can't connect to my Nokia account...

What should I do? Thanks

    For OVI STORE, all you need to do is remove the proxy as I explained at the top!!!

    When we talk about wifi, it's to connect to the OVI site, not to the OVI application (/!\ not the same)

      I HAVE REMOVED ALL THE PROXIES AND RESET MY PHONE AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK. I EVEN REOPENED AN ACCOUNT AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK. I FIND IT STRANGE THAT I CAN NO LONGER CONNECT FROM MY PHONE TO DOWNLOAD APPLICATIONS; IT GIVES AN ERROR.

      Same for me, I thought I had found the solution but there was nothing in my PROXY. However, I'm having the same issue connecting to Facebook 15 days after OVI STORE, even though it had been working fine until then. I ended up deleting my FACEBOOK app and since then I haven't been able to download it again because Ovi store is telling me there's a connection problem, even though I am connected with my username.

    I have the same problem. I can't connect to the Ovi app and also on the Ovi website from the E71 it tells me that my username or my password is incorrect. Once I try, I can't spend the whole day doing this. I have nothing in my proxies so I don't understand what to do and I believe I'm not the only one!

      Good for me, I removed the IP address that was in the "proxy" parameter for Orange World on my phone (Nokia E71) and it works perfectly!!! Thanks for the tip!

    Logically, it works via WiFi but not with your operator's hotspot...
    The problem: the proxy
    The solution: connection / hotspots / your hotspot / advanced options and you remove the proxy!

    Salut, moi aussi j'ai galéré pour installer Ovi et je n'ai toujours pas réussi. Je me suis connecté avec mon tel sur le site Ovi puis je me suis connecté sur mon compte puis téléchargé Ovi Store, ça me redemande mon pseudo puis mon mot de passe et quand je me reconnecte, ça me remet à télécharger. Je clique dessus et ça me remet la même chose : connectez-vous. Je ne comprends rien à ce truc, est-ce que quelqu'un connaît ça ?

      @michajajouC'est bon, j'ai réussi à l'installer sur mon téléphone OVI STORE, mais maintenant le problème c'est que je n'arrive pas à télécharger les applications ou les jeux. Je me connecte et ensuite il me dit échec de la connexion, vérifier votre mot de passe ou le pseudo, mais pourtant je suis bien connecté... Comment dois-je faire ? Et aussi, quand je lance l'application OVI STORE de mon téléphone, ça me met connexion par Orange World, et d'après ce que j'ai compris, il faut se connecter par Wi-Fi, mais je n'arrive pas à le changer par Wi-Fi.

I connect and then it says connection failed, check your password or username, but I'm logged in correctly...... what should I do?       Hello, I have the same issue. I send the text from my PC to my E71 and when I log in, it says that my address or password is incorrect, whereas it works online. It's a bit annoying, please help!!!

          In the main menu, tools / settings / connection / access points / "your access point" / advanced options and in proxy put nothing (leave it empty!)
