Is this the end of the E3b.org host?

Hello,
My site was (still is ^^) hosted by E3b.org, which seemed to be the best free host...
For a few days now, there has been a failure; the webmaster tells us it should be fixed soon, but since yesterday, there is a not very positive message on their site.... http://www.e3b.org
Should we think that this is a definite end?
In any case, it is true that we can hardly complain since it's a free hosting!
However, the webmaster is leaving us a bit stranded, and it's somewhat difficult for the management of our site, and I don't think I'm the only one in this case =)
What do you think? Does anyone have any more recent info?
I wish you all an excellent Sunday :)

Hello everyone.
My brother, who is a lawyer, helped me with my steps against e3b.org. They are diverting the URLs of hosted sites for their racist message. Moreover, their story about Allo pass is completely false. We learned that several people have taken steps against them for their racist remarks. Mr. Alexandre is supposedly hiding in Canada, which is totally false. We have contacted the fraud service, and an investigation is underway against the e3b.org host because, as I mentioned earlier, several complaints have been filed. So the only thing to do is to file a complaint either with the Fraud Services or with the Human Rights Services. For your information, a lawyer is offered to you for free. Hoping that the maximum number of people block this kind of individuals.

Hello,
The host E3b.org is not dead, no data has been lost (see http://e3b.org/t/ ).
Everything will get back to normal in a few days... hopefully.
EDIT: If you don't believe me: https://www.zupimages.net/ -
By what right can a host impose an ISP on us to visit their site?
It's really unworthy of a host. It's not up to you to find another ISP; in France, they are all decent.
Now, given this message, I migrated immediately; I tried http://cfree.eu, and I'm happy, especially since the ad at the bottom of the page doesn't bother me as it allowed me to find my new GSM operator, and I'm actually benefiting from the change.
Even if e3b came back, considering the work I had to do to migrate, I would stay on cfree.eu, clear and simple.
Hey e3b, if you had decent equipment, you would be operational by now. However, don't come back to me when you leave; your actions are far from correct, and don’t think you're untouchable just because you're in Canada, because I have family there and I go there very often... by the way, I'm not very far from you this week... -
@ju71: Are you having trouble accessing it? It's strange that I can get in. :s
Otherwise, there has been an update to the link I provided.
Here it is in its entirety for those who cannot see the page:
------------------------------------------------------------- Update October 4, 2009: To be or not to be After reading the comments below, the server understood that nobody liked it. Earlier in the day, it attempted suicide (it tried to open its SATA cables). It has been decided to send it to therapy in a closed center. After rehabilitation and electroshock treatment, we hope to see it recover. It was already fragile, it didn't need so much hate. Edit: We didn't have time to put it in the car before it started again. Look at the state of depravity it's in, it's drinking and has opened another SATA cable: https://www.zupimages.net/ -------------------------------------------------------------

I found the address below to report sites (and hosts) that are "potentially damaging to human dignity".

Oh look who it is: our Alex, our king of jokes host! :)

Alexandre Duchesne (Montreal, Canada), administrator of e3b.org, is nothing but a provocateur who spreads questionable messages. His hatred for people of Maghrebi origin drives him to dubious actions and to take revenge on all the registered users of his hosting service. This poor computer science student seemingly has no private life and seems to vent his frustrations as best he can with his childish crusade. He likes to give himself importance through the internet as a substitute for lacking it in the real world.

Update October 5, 2009
The server has been ready to be put back into production since October 3. But since it takes a few hours to bring it back to the data center AND the wonderful disparaging comments have destroyed the little motivation left for the admins, the return is deliberately delayed. One really has to be ignorant to confuse the Bible with the satanic movement. It's blasphemy, there are no other words. I am ashamed. ASHAMED. PS: "Not happy" and "Merlin," your wish has been granted, your two accounts have been deleted. Thank you for your support!
Update October 6, 2009
The server will be taken back to the data center on October 7 in the evening, and normally by October 8 your sites (except for those of "Not happy" and "Merlin" who requested their deletion) should be back online. As everything has been reinstalled, there are still things to configure. The panel and the site www.e3b.org will therefore return gradually.
;)-
Houm houm houm ...
It is October 8th, 2009 and .... I can't access my page... and not even the site www.e3b.org
You have to wonder if these guys are really serious ...
Providing free hosting... is nice, but I find that not informing users, or responding to them in a very cold manner is not a solution from the e3b team.
As far as I know, it is we, the users, who contribute to the survival of e3b!
For those who understand .. -
Hi Potter60
Since you seem to be well-informed about the situation, could you give us some news about e3b.org;
We are a bit worried because it's been 2 days since we could no longer connect to their page and they closed the mini forum since Friday evening.
If you have any news, don't hesitate to pass it on to us. Long live e3b.org.

Update October 7, 2009
An anonymous user has just sent us this photograph. It seems that e3b and his sweetheart have reconciled. Let’s hope their activities don’t tire him too much for the upcoming restart!

Update October 8, 2009
An A/H1N1 flu issue forces us to delay the service restore. If the service cannot be restored before Friday, we will find a way to make backups available for those who want them. I apologize for the inconvenience. For those wondering if this is a joke, no this time it’s true, the person in charge of our internet connection seems to be sick, which temporarily renders them unavailable to restore our network.
Yeah, but does the person in charge of the internet connection at E3b.org really have the A/H1N1 flu? It could be something else… :> -
It's dead. The site is dead. That's why you should have taken U7N :D
Come on, let's go to the beach, it's not the end, Jacky? -
I found https://sedo.com/search/details/?partnerid=324561&language=fr&domain=cfree.eu&origin=sales_lander_1&utm_medium=Parking&utm_campaign=offerpage, they seem pretty good. I had 500 MB there, but on the Vista panel, I opened a ticket because I had an issue with a script. They helped me, and on top of that, they removed the ads, upgraded me to 800 MB, doubled my bandwidth, and added a couple of other things, but I can't remember them right now.
Anyway, it's pure happiness, everything runs well, and I no longer fear having the same problem as on e3b. -

What is totally incorrect are the racist images and videos that appear when you type the URL of a site hosted by e3b "site.e3b.org". Hoping that it is a hacking incident that has escaped the administrators, inciting racial hatred is a crime in many countries. I hoped until recent days for a return to normal, but I totally disapprove of these messages that remind us of the dark hours of history. The free service offered until now and the desire to share seem to me to be in total contradiction with the xenophobic messages that can currently be read, and it shocks me that my (educational) site could be associated with such remarks.
-
I agree with you. I have received complaints from my former visitors about the racist content that e3b has replaced our sites with. e3b has become a dump for spreading such content and has ended up there.
- Hello,
I am also hosted by e3b. I am outraged to see that my address points to a page with racist comments. Do you have a solution to prevent this? I wrote an email to the webmaster asking to redirect my address or change the error page, but he hasn't responded.
It really sucks to be associated with this racist filth.
Best regards - Hello,
You haven't understood anything,
They are the ones responsible for the pages that appear.... the DNS is indeed on one of their hosting or servers.
They do this to get the domain name e3b.org shut down when there will be complaints to the registrar.
You understand that the process will be as follows, the registrar will cut the domain, they will open another one and come crying saying that you were mean and that it’s your fault if e3b sank due to racist remarks or others.
This is really a misunderstanding on the part of a host, who proudly claimed that racist sites, those not in compliance with the law would be removed without warning, they should remove theirs first.
e3b you have really sunk low.
And for the person who asked e3b to route the domain elsewhere, they won't do it.
If it is a domain name that belongs to you, you registered it with a registrar, it is them you need to contact to route it elsewhere, but you must provide them with the details of your new host by giving them the DNS to set (usually ns1.domain.com replace domain.com with the domain name provided by your host). - Hello everyone on this forum,
I can't predict the future, I don't give a damn about e3b... I invested $30 in the adventure and I feel cheated! I really think they're done for good... I hope so anyway...
What I find very disgraceful on their part is to set up a script that hijacks the URL of our sites to identify itself as such and displays very vulgar, xenophobic, racist, and outrageous words... it's identity theft...
The worst part is that we have no control over this... if I had time and money to waste, I would try to get compensated... but I don't have time to waste with idiots like that...
They can go rot in hell or elsewhere..!
Very, very disappointed former hosted user...
Good evening to all and good luck with another host, there are plenty to choose from...

Hello
e3b.org has never been a free hosting service; personally, I think it's a huge scam
you put your site online and by magic it disappears for no reason and without any message explaining why except this
famous message (Oops) that happened to me twice, I recommend looking for another host!!
e3b is full of problems :)
I wish good luck to the e3b members
and for the e3b administrators, I hope people know what you are doing, scams like 'do a
donation' and when you take what you want, you delete all the sites on the server..
people spend a lot of time creating a site :) and you don't care
Bye -
A bit easy as an answer.
The redirect service has only just started working again (2 to 3 hours ago). I, of course, attempted a redirect as soon as these racist messages appeared; until then, I still had hope in e3b, but I cannot support being associated with these ideas.
As for talking about jokes when looking at the content uploaded, the term is rather mild. This is called incitement to racial hatred. The videos and photos leave no doubt; there is not the slightest trace of humor.
We are not talking about questionable jokes among friends but about posts on the internet, accessible to everyone, using the URL of sites created by people who are mostly (I hope) opposed to these ideas.
This is unacceptable.
Best regards,

Thank you very much for this info!! I can't access this page, but I believe you =)
It's true that this message on the first page of E3b is a bit scary...
But your message is reassuring! Thank you! -
Thank you very much for keeping us updated! Indeed, I can't access it, it shows me a 404 error page... I tried with Opera, as I saw that was what you were using, and no, still nothing...
Anyway, it's not a big deal at all, it's very nice of you to have shared the update =D
I see that E3b really likes metaphors...
I'm not quite sure what to make of these sentences...
And what does the linked image represent? I can't access it either ^^ -
Well, you're welcome. ;)
I hosted the image elsewhere: https://www.zupimages.net/.
