Lexmark X2670 Printer Installation

Hello,
I just installed a LEXMARK X2670 printer, I successfully installed the drivers with the CD but my Mac does not recognize the printer. What should I do? 
Configuration: Mac OS X Safari 531.9

    Hi,

    Printer drivers are often newer on the web than on the provided CD.
    Here is the Lexmark site and the X2670 page for Mac OS X.3, X.4, and X.5.

    Now, if you're using Snow Leopard (Mac OS X.6), be aware that the driver for this printer is included with Snow Leopard, so you shouldn't have needed to install anything.

      And what exactly is your problem?
      If it’s a printer installation issue: just follow the link I provided earlier.
      If it’s something else: just say it clearly.

      My computer isn't recognizing my printer either, so I can't complete my installation.

      What computer (PC/Mac)?
      What model of computer?
      What version of OS (Windows: which one?; Mac OS X: which one?
      What printer (just to make sure it's the correct one for this topic)?

    For Mac OS X 10.3 to 10.5:
    See my reply dated September 26, 2009, where I provided the link to the X2670 drivers.

    For Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7:
    According to this Apple page, it is supported.
    Here is the Lexmark page containing the driver
