Hello,

I have a little problem, my laptop goes to sleep after 2 minutes and I don't understand why.
It's not really a sleep mode but it goes back to my home page and asks me for my password again.
When I'm online, it just cuts off abruptly!

So if anyone has a little advice, that would be nice.

Have a great day everyone!
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 8.0

    start by adjusting the display
    start/ settings/ control panel/ personalization.
in screensaver click on none and uncheck "on resume, display logon screen" then click apply and then ok

    Hi,
if I understood your problem correctly, your phone goes to the login screen after 2 minutes of inactivity.

I had the same issue with the same configuration as you.

It would go into sleep mode as soon as it was inactive for more than a minute, even though no screensaver was selected.

    I resolved it like this:

Right-click on the desktop + personalize
select screensaver, and choose any screensaver (it doesn't matter which one).
There, uncheck the box "Upon resume ........", click apply.

Then, you can set it to no screensaver or select the one you want, and modify the timeout as you wish.

Click OK, and normally, you shouldn't have any more issues with disconnection and the Windows login screen.

I don't know why the session closes even when no screensaver is selected and the box is checked, but with this manipulation, my problem is gone.
