Hello,
I will briefly explain my problem, a friend brought me a PC (HP Pavilion a6017.fr) that is 2 years old and is broken. After various checks, I think it's the motherboard (or processor?) that is faulty.

I post because I hadn't provided the solution to my problem

actually, it was just the power supply that was faulty

      Hello,
I believe I have the same problem, my PC (the same as yours) won't start.
How did you manage to fix the issue?

For your information, my PC stopped booting overnight. I assumed it was the motherboard, but your message makes me think it might actually be the power supply.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

      Hello,
For my part, there's a fault in the starting circuit power supply, through the MCU board
To test, connect a black wire (ground) with the green wire (start command +5 VOLTS power supply) from the ATX1 terminal
      together.

So ultimately, was it the motherboard or the power supply unit that you had to change? Because I have the same problem, the PC turns on but shuts down by itself or doesn't turn on at all.

in my case, it was just the power supply
