Connect a memory card reader to the motherboard

Hello,

as mentioned in the title, I would like to connect my memory card reader to my new PC, which I salvaged from my old one. My motherboard is an MSI Z77A-G43 and there are 2 internal USB headers for USB ports (3 ports 2.0) on the front that are already in use, but how do I install my memory card reader on my motherboard?

    The memory card reader requires at least one internal USB port to function, so if you don’t have any more on your motherboard, you only have to sacrifice a portion of the front USB.

      I've rarely seen many more of them, and yet I've handled a lot of gear.

      You should invest and get a PCI or PCIe card to USB that has the special feature of providing external ports and an internal one in addition to those on the motherboard.

    there are PCI cards that provide USB external ports and also an internal port, that's what I put on a PC:

      take one with an internal output, they don't all have them.

      yes yes I’d rather go with tar(s) or at worst I’ll sacrifice one of the USBs on the front panel
