Increase mouse sensitivity Solved

Hello, I am looking for software that can increase mouse sensitivity (on Windows). (I have already set the pointer speed to maximum in the Mouse properties) Thank you

I know the topic is old but it might be useful for others.
You can increase the mouse sensitivity directly from the Windows registry.
- Press the Windows + r keys simultaneously (or go to start/run)
- Type regedit and press the ENTER key
- Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Mouse
- Double click on the MouseSensitivity key and there you can increase it (start with increments of 20, personally I set it to 100 because I have a resolution of 1920x1080 and it's too slow to go from one corner of the screen to the other lol)
- You can also increase the MouseSpeed a bit but that more concerns the click speed of the mouse.
- Don't forget to restart your computer after the changes for them to take effect.

Is your mouse a brand? If so, why not try installing the software that comes with it? Generally, it can be found on the CD.

I bought a Microsoft PS/2 mouse (sold with the PC) but I don't have a CD. To install the driver, I went directly online.

Try updating the drivers:

I downloaded the driver updates but the Microsoft PS/2 is not included. Also, I am looking for a SOFTWARE that duplicates sensitivity.  Thank you for your help.

Sorry, I don't know them...
But there's a solution: changing the mouse is a good idea; for example, the Razer Diamondback is an excellent choice :)

UP: same problem, but with the touchpad of my notebook (the mouse works fine). What should I do? Should I buy a new one? :/

Well, I would also like to be able to increase the sensitivity of my mouse, especially to navigate faster, and I don’t understand because my friends’ mice are much faster even though I am on max. (Well, it’s true that mine is a very basic Microsoft one that came with the PC and that laser ones are faster) but I have already seen scroll mice that are much faster....

I suppose it comes from the brand, but if anyone happens to have the solution...

Hi, I bought a new mouse. You have to pay attention to the pixels per inch. That's what defines sensitivity.
I don't think there's any software that increases sensitivity because that would mean inventing data.
